1st Philippine eHealth Summit

The  Department  of  Health   (DOH)  and  the Department of Science and Technology  (DOST)  are hosting the First Philippine eHealth Summit on 4 February 2014, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Manila, with the Theme: eHealth Innovations for Universal Health Care.

The Summit aims to be a platform for exchange of information and expertise on what has been done and what is currently being done on eHealth in the country. The forum will also be a venue for presenting the Philippine eHealth Plan and Deliverables, to gather stakeholders’ inputs, and to engage them, for better buy-in, to achieve the vision of a widespread access to health care services and health care information in support of a safer, better, more equitable and responsive health system.

Part of the program is an eHealth Marketplace and Poster Exhibit. The latter is a contest on eHealth research, projects and applications for undergraduate students and professionals.  If interested, kindly contact the secretariat.

We envision the eHealth Marketplace to be vibrant with ideas, products and services on eHealth innovations from the public and private sectors as well as international development partners.
