May 23-24, 2023 - The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 2 through the Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) successfully organized a two-day Training Workshop for Statistical Analysis held at Villa Blanca Hotel, Ugac Norte Tuguegarao.
Before the training started, the DOST Regional Director Dr. Virginia Bilgera through the presence of Asisstant Regional Director for Field Operations Services (FOS) Engr. Sylvia T. Lacambra delivered an engaging opening remarks which hooked the audience as she set expectations from them by the end of the training.
Along with this, the workshop attracted 60 interested participants from various member institution across the region.
The workshop also featured distinguished resource speakers renowned in the field of statistical analysis including Dr. Marcelo E. Raquepo, Dr. Julius T. Capili, and Prof. Hilaria M. Barsabal as they have shared their knowledge, presented cutting-edge methodologies, best practices, and real-world case studies.
Their engaging presentations and interactive sessions inspired attendees to explore innovative approaches to data analysis and interpretation.
With the knowledge gained from the this S&T driven event, participants are now equipped with the tools and skills necessary to conduct rigorous statistical analysis in their research endeavors.
