CVHRDC presents Plans for 2024, Looks Forward to a more Dynamic Healthcare System in CagVal

October 12-13, 2023- The Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC), under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 02 and led by Regional Director Virginia G. Bilgera, has conducted the 2024 CVHRDC Operational Planning, as well as the presentation of the 2023 accomplishments under the leadership of Dr. Julius T. Capili, serving as CVHRDC Executive Director.

RD Bilgera, in the presence of Ms. Raquel B. Santos, Science Research Specialist II, delivered a message of appreciation to the participants for their attendance and contribution to the advancement of health research in the Valley.

Moreover, the consortium's performance report as of October 2023 was presented by Dr. Capili, highlighting the significant strides made in promoting health research and innovation in the region.

"This 2-day operational planning workshop will result in what I call three 'FRESHES': a fresh beginning, fresh ideas, and a fresh future," emphasized Dr. Capili.
The five different committees comprises Capacity Building Committee (CBC), Research Management Committee (RMC) , Research Ethics Committee (REC), Research,Information, Communication and Utilization Committee (RICUC), and Structure, Organization, Monitoring & Evaluation Committee (SOMEC) chairs/member presented their plans for 2024.

The CVHRDC, a collaborative initiative among various health agencies, SUCs, and HEIs aimed at boosting health research and development in the Cagayan Valley region, has been diligently working towards its mission to enhance the well-being of its constituents through innovative research and evidence-based healthcare solutions.
