Earlier today, the Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) successfully conducted DOST Project Management Information System (DPMIS) Training via Zoom.
DPMIS is a web-based information system where researchers submit their proposals for possible funding. This activity aims to capacitate them on how to navigate its portal for easy and smooth submission of their proposals before the set deadline.
Ms. Marianne Joy Laya, Senior Science Research Specialist of PCHRD, was invited as a resource speaker. She discussed the overview of the current PCHRD Call for Proposals, an introduction and demonstration of the DPMIS Portal, and tips on submitting research proposals. This was also supplemented by Mr. Marc Allen A. Sison, Project Technical Specialist III of the Special Project Division, during the open forum.
The activity was led by CVHRDC Executive Director Julius T. Capili, where it was attended by a hundred participants who came from CVHRDC member institutions.
Indeed, the CVHRDC truly prioritizes the health services for a quality healthcare in the region through Research and Development.
To conclude, the improved information system is a start-up as one of the key instruments of the DOST in successful submissions of research proposals, a great help in integrating data which will enhance the operation of healthcare for a better and sustainable communities in Cagayan Valley.
